Free Community Event in York, "Creekfire"

Art for All Participants,
The inaugural Creekfire will be held at dusk on May 12, 2012 at Foundry Park on the Codorus Creek.
Creekfire is simply a gathering at the Codorus Creek to enjoy a floating firepit (campfire of sorts) and
celebrate the City's urban water feature.
Please pass this announcement onto anyone you know that might be interested, as word of mouth and e-mail
will be the primary method of spreading the news. BTW, it is free.
Let's hope for fair weather so the fire can begin. (If it is raining or the creek is raging Creekfire will
be rescheduled.)

MANGLE ascends to his proper divinity
                    as Revisionary Monseigneur.

O.K.  So we had hundreds of submissions to the Mangle Project.  Well, close.  Actually, we had about a dozen.  Thanks to all who entertained our jittery, caffeinated, nicotine-stained ambitions.  The results will be ceremoniously presented to you on Monday.

But, and this is a big But, all are invited, shamed, encouraged to attend.  You know who you are who never leave the hollows for the big big city and its community of poets.  Yes, dammit, you.  Get out of the flickering screens of hypnogogic sedation and join us.

Following, or during, or despite and because, the "ceremonious presentation" we will have a discussion around the subject of revision.  I know for some of us, revision is a myth and for others sacrament.  Bring your version and add it to the discussion.

C'mon peoples  --  you know what we're up to here.  Let's talk and build this community of poets.  Hippopotomonstrosesquipedalian Abecedarians Unite!
